Renovaré NewsRenovaré , in Latin, means "to renew." The Renovaré initiative was founded by Richard J. Foster with the intent to develop discipleship in individuals through retreats, reading devotional literature, and making a strong comittment to spiritual renewal. The Renovaré spiritual formation group supports each person as he or she seeks a balanced spiritual life based on the practices seen in Jesus' life and the history of the Church. This spiritual life is meant to be: prayer-filled, compassionate, virtuous, Word-centered, Spirit empowered, and sacramental. The Renovaré: Women's Spiritual Formation Group at our church meets every Thursday 4:15-5:45 in the Center. This group is not open to drop-ins, however. If you are interested in finding out more about the group and possibly committing yourself to the kind of discipleship it requires, please contact Terry de la Vega, or one of the other members of Renovaré.
