Alisha is Pilates-certified through the American Sports and Fitness Association. She has 20 years of experience instructing group fitness classes. Alisha teaches 6th grade and is the mother of three daughters. She is happy to offer these classes to the Potsdam community.

If you have ever said to yourself during guided meditation, "I wish they would be quiet; I'm trying to meditate here" then Zazen is for you.

This sitting is open to the community for a free-will donation.

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that is a wonderful addition to the restorative experience in this class, Reiki improves physical, emotional, and mental health. During this class, students will use supportive props, such as blankets, blocks, and bolsters to allow a deeply relaxing stretch. Reiki energy will be received in each pose. All are welcome, no yoga experience is needed.
$20 per class.
Courtney Kelly, RYT, completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course with Yoga & Ayurveda Center. She is an RN, working at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, on the Chemical Dependency floor, where she teaches yoga classes to patients as part of their rehabilitation program. Courtney has completed Reiki II Attunement in the Usui System of Natural Energy Healing with Reiki Master Mary-Ann Post.

This five-week class (Thursdays May 30 - June 27) is open to women in all three trimesters. Enjoy a gentle yoga practice, focussing on strengthening, toning, breathing, stretching, and guided meditation. Build confidence and ease as you prepare for labor and birth. Students are encouraged to work at their level of comfort. No yoga experience is needed. Terry de la Vega has may years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in women's heath and is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher with many years of experience teaching prenatal yoga classes.
