Restorative Yoga is a guided, meditative asana practice that can benefit everyone, from those with no yoga background to experienced yogis. Using props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets to support the body, poses are held for several minutes, encouraging deep relaxation and gentle, enjoyable stretching. This practice is designed to relive physical and emotional stress while create a sense of integration. $10 per class.
Courtney Kelly, RYT, completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course with Yoga & Ayurveda Center. She is an RN, working at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, on the Chemical Dependency floor, where she teaches yoga classes to patients as part of their rehabilitation program. Courtney has completed Reiki II Attunement in the Usui System of Natural Energy Healing with Reiki Master Mary-Ann Post.
